In Chronic hepatitis C virus (HCV) infection Hepcinat Tablet works by preventing the HCV virus from multiplying in your body. It helps control the infection and makes the immune system work better. This lowers your chances of getting complications and improves your quality of life. This medicine is always taken in combination with other antiretroviral medicines. It is not a cure and should neither be used to prevent HCV infection. It is important that you take this medicine as prescribed, following the dosage recommended by your doctor. Taking all doses in the right amount at the right times greatly increases the effectiveness of the medicine.
The majority of side effects typically do not necessitate medical intervention. and disappear as your body adjusts to the medicine. Doctor consultation is advised if they persist or if you're worried about them.
Follow your doctor's guidance regarding the dose and duration of this medication. Ingest it without breaking or crushing. Do not chew, crush or break it. Hepcinat Tablet is to be taken with food.

Consult your Doctor: Please consult your doctor regarding the safety of consuming alcohol with Hepcinat Tablet . Experts have not found evidence of alcohol impairing the effectiveness of the medicine.
Safe when prescribed by an expert: Hepcinat Tablet is generally considered safe to use during pregnancy. Animal studies have shown low or no adverse effects to the developing baby; however, there are limited human studies.
Safe when prescribed by an expert: Hepcinat Tablet is probably safe to use during breastfeeding. Limited human data suggests that the drug does not represent any significant risk to the baby.
Not Safe: Hepcinat Tablet may cause side effects which could affect your ability to drive. Hepcinat Tablet, when taken together with other medicines for the treatment of hepatitis c infection, may produce dizziness, blurred vision and this may affect your ability to drive.
Caution Advised: Hepcinat Tablet should be used with caution in patients with severe kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Hepcinat Tablet may be needed. Doctor consultation is advised. Limited information is available on use of Hepcinat Tablet in these patients. No dose adjustment is recommended in patients with mild to moderate kidney disease.
Safe when prescribed by an expert: Hepcinat Tablet is safe to use in patients with liver disease. No dose adjustment of Hepcinat Tablet is recommended.
If a dose of Hepcinat Tablet is missed, take it promptly. However, if your next dose is approaching, skip the missed dose and resume your regular schedule. Avoid doubling the dose.
