In Bacterial & parasitic infections Etisec Sachet helps treat many different infections such as those of the liver, stomach, intestines, vagina, brain, heart, lungs, bones, and skin that are caused by bacteria and parasites. It works by stopping the growth of the bacteria causing the infection. It usually makes you feel better quite quickly. However, you should continue taking it as long as it is prescribed even if you feel better, to make sure that all bacteria and parasites are killed and do not become resistant.
The majority of side effects typically do not necessitate medical intervention. and disappear as your body adjusts to the medicine. Doctor consultation is advised if they persist or if you're worried about them.
Follow your doctor's guidance regarding the dose and duration of this medication. Check the label for directions before use. Empty the granules in a glass of water/milk, stir it and consume immediately. Etisec Sachet is to be taken with food.
Etisec Sachet is an antibiotic. It kills the bacteria and other microorganisms that cause infections by damaging their DNA.
Unsafe: It is unsafe to consume alcohol while taking Etisec Sachet , as it may lead to symptoms such as flushing, increased heart rate, nausea, thirst, chest pain, and low blood pressure, known as a Disulfiram reaction.
Seek medical advice from your doctor: Etisec Sachet may be unsafe to use during pregnancy. Although there are limited studies in humans, animal studies have shown harmful effects on the developing baby. Your doctor will weigh the benefits and any potential risks before prescribing it to you. Doctor consultation is advised.
Caution Advised: Etisec Sachet should be used with caution during breastfeeding. Breastfeeding should be held until the treatment of the mother is completed and the drug is eliminated from her body.
Not Safe: Etisec Sachet may decrease alertness, affect your vision or make you feel sleepy and dizzy. Do not drive if these symptoms occur.
Seek medical advice from your doctor: There is limited information available on the use of Etisec Sachet in patients with kidney disease. Doctor consultation is advised.
Safe when prescribed by an expert: Etisec Sachet is probably safe to use in patients with liver disease. Limited data available suggests that dose adjustment of Etisec Sachet may not be needed in these patients. Doctor consultation is advised.
If a dose of Etisec Sachet is missed, take it promptly. However, if your next dose is approaching, skip the missed dose and resume your regular schedule. Avoid doubling the dose.
