This medicine can relieve frequent loose motions and also help you to stay well by preventing them from coming back. You should drink plenty of fluids while taking it to make sure you stay hydrated. In Dysentery Dysentery or amoebic dysentery is a parasitic infection of the intestines that occurs mostly due to intake of contaminated food or water. The symptoms include loose stools (diarrhea), stomach cramps and stomach pain. Entrodix M Suspension helps to treat this infection by killing the infection causing parasites. It relieves these symptoms and also helps you to stay well by preventing them from coming back.

Entrodix M Suspension is a combination of two antibiotics: Nalidixic Acid and Metronidazole. Metronidazole kills parasites and anaerobic bacteria that cause infections by damaging their DNA. Together, they treat your infection effectively.
Unsafe: It is unsafe to consume alcohol while taking Entrodix M Suspension , as it may lead to symptoms such as flushing, increased heart rate, nausea, thirst, chest pain, and low blood pressure, known as a Disulfiram reaction.

Although there are limited studies in humans, animal studies have shown harmful effects on the developing baby. Breastfeeding should be held until the treatment of the mother is completed and the drug is eliminated from her body. If a single dose of Entrodix M Suspension is used, it is recommended to hold breastfeeding for 12-24 hours to allow the removal of the drug.
Not Safe: Entrodix M Suspension may cause side effects which could affect your ability to drive. Entrodix M Suspension may make you feel sleepy, dizzy, confused. You may have hallucinations, fits (convulsions) or temporary eyesight problems (such as blurred or double vision) affecting your ability to drive.
Caution Advised: Entrodix M Suspension should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Entrodix M Suspension may be needed. Doctor consultation is advised. Regular monitoring of kidney function tests is advised if this medicine is to be taken for a long time.
