These include infections of the blood, brain, lungs, bones, joints, urinary tract, stomach and intestines. It can also be used to treat sexually transmitted diseases. It stops the growth of the bacteria causing the infection and clears the infection. It also helps treat as well as prevent diarrhea that may occur due to the use of this medicine or due to stomach/gut(intestine) infections.Take it for as long as prescribed by the doctor and avoid skipping doses. This will make sure that all bacteria are killed and they do not become resistant.

How Codo Capsule works Codo Capsule is a combination of two medicines: Doxycycline and Lactobacillus.

Codo Capsule is unsafe to use during pregnancy as there is definite evidence of risk to the developing baby. However, the doctor may rarely prescribe it in some life-threatening situations if the benefits are more than the potential risks. Doctor consultation is advised.
Codo Capsule is probably safe to use during breastfeeding. Limited human data suggests that the drug does not represent any significant risk to the baby.
Codo Capsule may decrease alertness, affect your vision or make you feel sleepy and dizzy. Do not drive if these symptoms occur. Visual disturbances such as blurring of vision may occur during treatment with doxycycline.
There is limited information available on the use of Codo Capsule in patients with kidney disease. Doctor consultation is advised.

If a dose of Codo Capsule is missed, take it promptly. However, if your next dose is approaching, skip the missed dose and resume your regular schedule. Avoid doubling the dose.
