In Treatment of Nausea Avinorm Tablet blocks the action of chemicals in the body that can make you feel or be sick. It is often used to prevent nausea and vomiting that may be caused due to some medicines or cancer treatment. This medicine helps you recover more comfortably from cancer treatments such as radiation therapy or chemotherapy. It is also effective at preventing nausea and vomiting after an operation (in adults only). The dose will depend on what you are being treated for but always take this medicine as it is prescribed. In Treatment of Indigestion Indigestion means discomfort of mainly the upper part of your stomach which may also have other symptoms such as stomach pain, bloating, feeling full etc. Avinorm Tablet improves the movement of food in your stomach and gut (intestine). This relieves these symptoms and helps in proper digestion of food. Take Avinorm Tablet as prescribed by the doctor. Think about what foods trigger indigestion and try to avoid them; eat smaller, more frequent meals; try to lose weight if you are overweight, and try to find ways to relax. Do not eat within 3-4 hours of going to bed. In Treatment of Heartburn Heartburn is a burning feeling in your chest caused by stomach acids traveling back up towards your throat and mouth (acid reflux). Avinorm Tablet improves the movement of food in the stomach and helps prevent heartburn. Some simple lifestyle changes can help stop or reduce heartburn. Think about what foods trigger heartburn and try to avoid them; eat smaller, more frequent meals; try to lose weight if you are overweight and try to find ways to relax. Do not eat within 3 to 4 hours of going to bed.

Alcohol

Pregnancy

Breast feeding

Driving

Not Safe: Avinorm Tablet may cause side effects which could affect your ability to drive. Avinorm Tablet may cause drowsiness, dizziness, dyskinesia and dystonias which could affect the vision and may interfere with the ability to drive.

Kidney

Caution Advised: Avinorm Tablet should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Avinorm Tablet may be needed. Doctor consultation is advised.

Liver

Safe when prescribed by an expert: Avinorm Tablet is probably safe to use in patients with liver disease. Limited data available suggests that dose adjustment of Avinorm Tablet may not be needed in these patients. Doctor consultation is advised.

If a dose of Avinorm Tablet is missed, take it promptly. However, if your next dose is approaching, skip the missed dose and resume your regular schedule. Avoid doubling the dose.

Store in a cool and dry place, and keep the temperature below 30�C

Avinorm Tablet helps relieve nausea, vomiting, indigestion and heartburn. It may cause dizziness and sleepiness. Do not drive or do anything that requires mental focus until you know how it affects you. Avoid consuming alcohol when taking Avinorm Tablet as it may cause excessive drowsiness. Inform your doctor if you get watery diarrhea, fever, or stomach pain that does not go away.
