Allerhin D Plus Syrup suppresses severe dry cough and gives your child relief from an itchy throat. Along with medications, drinking lukewarm water and gargling with warm salt water may also help ease symptoms for your child.
Side effects of Allerhin D Plus Syrup in children Allerhin D Plus Syrup does not pose serious side effects and is well-tolerated by children. In case the side effects do occur, they�re likely to subside once the body adapts to the medicine. Consult your child�s doctor if these side effects persist or bother your child. How can I give Allerhin D Plus Syrup to my child?Follow your doctor's guidance regarding the dose and duration of this medication. Check the label for directions before use. Measure it with a measuring cup and take it by mouth. Shake well before use. Allerhin D Plus Syrup can be taken it with or without food, although it's advisable to take it consistently at the same time.
How Allerhin D Plus Syrup works Allerhin D Plus Syrup is a combination of three medicines: Ambroxol, dextromethorphan, and cetirizine which relieve dry cough. Ambroxol is a mucolytic that thins and loosens mucus (phlegm), making it easier to cough out. Dextromethorphan is a cough suppressant that relieves cough by reducing the activity of the cough center in the brain. Cetirizine is an antiallergic which relieves allergy symptoms like runny nose, watery eyes, and sneezing.
Allerhin D Plus Syrup should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Allerhin D Plus Syrup may be needed. Doctor consultation is advised.

Remain calm. Unless your child�s doctor has provided specific instructions, administer the missed dose once recalled. If it's nearly time for the next dose, skip the missed one. Adhere to the prescribed dosing schedule and avoid administering a double dose to compensate for the missed one.
