Side effects of 1-AL Syrup in children1-AL Syrup does not pose serious side effects and is well-tolerated by children. In case the side effects do occur, they�re likely to subside once the body adapts to the medicine. Consult your child�s doctor if these side effects persist or bother your child. How can I give 1-AL Syrup to my child?Follow your doctor's guidance regarding the dose and duration of this medication. Check the label for directions before use. Measure it with a measuring cup and take it by mouth. Shake well before use. 1-AL Syrup can be taken it with or without food, although it's advisable to take it consistently at the same time.
How 1-AL Syrup works1-AL Syrup belongs to a class of medicines called antihistamines. It blocks the natural chemical substance (histamine) produced in the body during an allergic state. It also subsides (lowers) your child�s immune system�s response to these conditions, thereby reducing the symptoms.
1-AL Syrup should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of 1-AL Syrup may be needed. Doctor consultation is advised.
1-AL Syrup is safe to use in patients with liver disease. No dose adjustment of 1-AL Syrup is recommended.However, dose adjustments may be required in severe liver disease. Consult your doctor before giving Levocetirizine to your child in case of severe liver disease.
Remain calm. Unless your child�s doctor has provided specific instructions, administer the missed dose once recalled. If it's nearly time for the next dose, skip the missed one. Adhere to the prescribed dosing schedule and avoid administering a double dose to compensate for the missed one.
