How Voriconazole works Voriconazole is an antifungal medication that kills and inhibits the growth of fungi by destroying their cell membrane, thereby treating your skin infection.

Side Effects

Common side effects of Voriconazole include decreased potassium levels in the blood, increased liver enzymes, skin rash, high blood pressure, increased potassium levels in the blood, gastrointestinal disturbances, visual disturbances, and nosebleeds.

Expert Advice

Your doctor has prescribed Voriconazole to treat your infection and alleviate symptoms.
Do not skip any doses and complete the full course of treatment, even if you start to feel better.
Take Voriconazole one hour before or one hour after a meal.
Avoid taking indigestion remedies (antacids) within two hours of taking Voriconazole.
Your doctor may check your liver function before starting treatment and regularly thereafter.
