Aceclofenac + Paracetamol + Serratiopeptidase is a combination medicine used to relieve pain, inflammation, and swelling associated with musculoskeletal disorders, injuries, and post-operative conditions. It works by reducing pain signals, controlling inflammation, and breaking down inflammatory proteins to promote faster recovery.
This combination treatment brings together three effective agents, Aceclofenac, Paracetamol (Acetaminophen), and Serratiopeptidase, to manage moderate pain, inflammation and swelling. Aceclofenac is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) that reduces inflammation and relieves pain by inhibiting prostaglandin synthesis. Paracetamol enhances pain relief and reduces fever, complementing the action of Aceclofenac. Serratiopeptidase is an enzyme that helps break down abnormal proteins at sites of inflammation, reducing swelling and promoting tissue healing.
This combination is commonly prescribed for conditions such as arthritis, sprains, strains, back pain, dental pain and post-surgical inflammation. It offers multidimensional relief by addressing both the cause of inflammation and the pain associated with it. The medicine should be taken under medical supervision, typically for short-term use, as prolonged use of NSAIDs may increase the risk of gastrointestinal or renal side effects. Always follow the dosing instructions provided by your doctor to ensure safe and effective treatment.
Aceclofenac and Paracetamol work synergistically to reduce pain intensity effectively, providing fast and sustained relief from mild to moderate pain.
Aceclofenac blocks the action of COX enzymes, reducing the production of inflammatory mediators, leading to improved joint mobility and reduced swelling.
Serratiopeptidase helps break down inflammatory proteins (such as fibrin) that contribute to swelling, thereby reducing oedema and supporting faster tissue recovery.
Compared with some traditional NSAIDs, Aceclofenac is associated with a comparatively better gastrointestinal tolerance when taken correctly.
The combination targets pain, inflammation, fever, and swelling simultaneously, making it suitable for a wide range of painful conditions.
Due to Serratiopeptidase's enzymatic action, bruises, soft tissue injuries, and post-surgical swelling heal more quickly.
Well-tolerated for acute pain episodes, helping restore normal activities sooner.
Common side effects:
Less common but serious effects:
Seek medical help if you experience severe stomach pain, blood in stools, jaundice, or breathing difficulty.
Not recommended, especially in the third trimester. Consult your doctor before use.
Aceclofenac and Paracetamol may pass into breast milk. Use only if clearly needed and advised by a doctor.
May cause dizziness or drowsiness. Avoid driving until you know how the medicine affects you.
Avoid alcohol. It increases the risk of liver damage (due to Paracetamol) and stomach irritation (due to Aceclofenac).
Aceclofenac + Paracetamol + Serratiopeptidase can be taken after meals to reduce stomach irritation. Certain foods and drinks may increase the risk of side effects or affect absorption.
Avoid:
Certain medicines can affect how Aceclofenac + Paracetamol + Serratiopeptidase works or increase the risk of side effects. Always inform your doctor about all medicines you are taking.
Possible interactions with:
This medicine should be used cautiously in patients with certain medical conditions. Discuss your medical history with your doctor before starting treatment.
Caution in:
The usual recommended dose is one tablet two to three times daily after meals, or as directed by your doctor. Do not exceed the prescribed dose. Your doctor may adjust the dose based on your pain severity, inflammation, and overall health condition. Continue taking the medicine for the prescribed duration even if symptoms improve, unless advised otherwise.
Taking more than the recommended dose may increase the risk of side effects such as stomach pain, nausea, vomiting, dizziness, gastrointestinal bleeding, or liver toxicity. Seek immediate medical attention if an overdose is suspected. Supportive treatment may include stomach protection, fluid replacement, and monitoring of liver and kidney function under medical supervision.
Take the missed dose as soon as you remember. If it is close to the next dose, skip the missed one. Do not double the dose to compensate.
